>> Who we are, what we're all about

Gameplay Monthly is a gaming magazine that debuted in early 2004. We review games for the PC as well as all major consoles. We also preview upcoming games and hardware. Where we differ from other game mags, however, is how we review the games. Case in point, rather than reviewing Socom II as just a solitary game, we provide a "running report" on how the game performs over a period of time. When Sony released a new map for it on their Official PlayStation Magazine CD, we reviewed that and took into consideration how well the developer/publisher is supporting the title.  The same goes for hardware developers.

When reading our reviews, you'll notice two scores listed: Score and Support Grade. The Score is what we thought of the game on a 1-10 scale, with 10 being the highest score. The Support Grade is how well we think the developer and/or publisher has supported the title, whether with patches, bonus content, or 'modding' support. We use the familiar A-F grading system, with A being the highest grade.

Here at Gameplay Monthly Online, we strive to provide the very best in content: in-depth reviews, exciting previews, informative interviews, exclusive screenshots and movies, and a host other fun stuff. We hope you enjoy your visit.
